Status Bar in Excel

In MS Excel, status bar can show very important information on the go. Normally when you select multiple cells with data, you will find the Count of selected cells on status bar. It will also show the Sum of selected values.

You can customize the Status Bar to show your desired value on the go. To customize the status bar, follow the steps below:

1. Right Click on the Status Bar of MS Excel

2. This will open a Context Menu with all the available options.

3. In this example, we will select Minimum, Maximum and Sum options so that the status bar can display the outputs for these functions.

4. Now, select the range of cells on your MS Excel Sheet and the output for these functions will be displayed on Status Bar.
