TFTP

TFTP stands for Trivial File Transfer Protocol and unlike other protocols mentiond above, the TFTP is a Internet software utility protocol or program which helps you transfer files from one place to another.


TFTP is also simpler than FTP or (file transfer protocol) but on the other side even though if its simpler to use, it is less capable.

It can be used without the users authentication and also TFTP uses the UDP or the user datagram protocol to function.

It’s most common purpose is to boot routers (via servers).
