Locating your IP address

If you want to determine the IP address of your TRENDnet router, there are a variety of options available. First, you can use the Command Prompt method and it applies mostly on the Windows-based computers.If you are using Windows 7, you will start by clicking the ‘Start’ button or Menu then choose ‘All programs’. It will open a new prompt window requesting the login credentials. Enter the default username and passphrase before you click the ‘login’ button. If the process is successful, you will be directed to the TRENDnet home page. A variety of settings can be configured in the administrative panel.

In a situation that you forget your new password, the primary solution is to perform a hard reset. Press and hold the button at the back of your router for about 15 seconds. The process will restore your router to the factory settings. The next time you log in to your router, use the default username and password.
