Virtual Dedicated Server

Sometimes referred to as VDS, a virtual dedicated server allows a virtual server to work and act as a dedicated server.

Every VDS has its own disk-space, CPU allocation, memory, bandwidth, and OS.

VDS is also referred to as a VPR, or virtual private server.
