Requesting All Your Facebook Data

You have the right to access the data that is stored on your Facebook account. New data on the internet is stored regularly, and with sites like Facebook it is secure as possible. Facebook cares about its user’s security, that’s why they give people so many options to help keep their account safe.

If you are curious about what data is stored on your Facebook, then you can file a request to retrieve it. You should be able to obtain a copy of your data, especially from one on a social networking site.

1. Start by clicking on the arrow at the top right corner of the main Facebook page. A drop down list of options will appear. Click on the one that says ‘help’, which is near the bottom.
